Quick-hitter update letter for June as we move into an important “heads-down” mode over the coming months. With that, let’s dive in…
Company updates —
1) The Morrow team grows
This month Morrow welcomed not one, but two new faces to our camp. Despite entering the intern recruiting game late in the 9th inning, we lucked out and have two interns joining Morrow this summer. Both are Stanford students with a focus on product. They are terrific. To quickly introduce them both:
Both of these guys have brought a great spark of energy and leverage, which has been well received. We’ve had the added benefit of working in person from our summer WeWork HQ in San Mateo. For the summer, Noah and Ben will be teaming up and have been tasked with scaling up the Beta Program user base. In a span of just a few weeks, they’ve ramped up and have already made great headway in moving things forward.

1) Recruiting in process - Founding team
Hiring the founding team is the top Morrow priority. If you’re looking for ways to help, you found it! The leading approach has been to source candidates through existing network (i.e. friends of Morrow like you), which typically requires some lead time for outreach, but has paid dividends as some terrific candidates are beginning to flow through across the positions we’re hiring for. 2) Beta Program ramps up
Building off early successes with initial Beta Program participants, we’ll be significantly increasing the user base over the summer months. Doing so allows us to run a low-overhead, DTC (direct-to-consumer) version of our service, and demonstrate value with a meaningful sample size. It also is plays directly into the B2C portion of the B2B2C distribution model that allows anyone to access Morrow services.
With added leverage from Ben and Noah, and a growing team of Retirement Navigators, we’re in for a busy few months that ought to produce a wealth of information and proof points.
